Terms of use
The short version of what you can expect from us, and we from you.
TruthRadar is run by TruthRadar Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (number 17247594), registered office 205 Regent Street, London W1B 4HB. Using TruthRadar means accepting these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use it. For anything about these terms, write to hello@truthradar.app.
What a Biblical Alignment Assessment is
A Biblical Alignment Assessment (an “assessment”) is an opinion about one message, reached by applying a published standard to a transcript of that message. It is shown as a name — for example “Partly consistent” — a score out of ten, and the reasons for both. The standard is published and anyone may read it, disagree with it, and say so.
An assessment describes how faithfully a sermon handled the Scripture it used. It is not a judgement of a preacher, a ministry or a church. It is not a statement that anyone is dishonest, unqualified or unsound. One sermon is a small window: preachers have bad weeks, unclear moments, and days when an illustration runs away with them, none of which makes someone a teacher whose content diverges from Scripture.
Scores are produced by software. We never claim a person has assessed a sermon when a machine has. The reasoning shown alongside a score is the reasoning that produced it.
Sermons in the directory are turned into text by speech-recognition software before they are scored. That software mishears things. We cannot promise the text it produced is word-for-word what was actually said, and a score can only be as good as the text it was given.
Your account
You do not need an account to read scores. You need one to save, follow and change settings. We email you an eight-digit code to sign in; there is no password. Keep access to your email address, because whoever can open your email can open your account. You must be 18 or over.
You can delete your account at any moment from Settings. It happens immediately, there is nothing to email and nobody to ask.
What is included
TruthRadar is still being built, and what is included may change. Some parts of it are free and always will be — every assessment, its score and the reasoning behind it cost nothing, and never will. Other parts may be limited, or may need a subscription. Where something is paid we will say so before you are asked for anything.
TruthRadar Premium
Premium is an auto-renewing subscription, bought through the app store on your phone. The price, and any free trial you are eligible for, is shown by the store before you buy. It renews at the end of each period until you cancel. Cancelling in that store’s account settings stops the next renewal, and you keep Premium for the time you have already paid for. A free trial becomes a paid subscription unless you cancel it; to avoid paying, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Refunds are handled by the store you subscribed through, under its own rules. Deleting your TruthRadar account does not cancel a subscription — cancel it in the store first.
Using it fairly
Please do not:
- present a score as something it is not — for example as a judgement of a person, or as a finding of fact about anybody;
- use TruthRadar to harass, defame or campaign against anyone;
- copy the corpus wholesale, scrape the site, or try to get round the limits that keep it running.
What belongs to whom
Sermons belong to the people who preached and published them. We do not host recordings and we do not re-publish them; we link to where the publisher put them, and any cover art shown is served by that publisher from their own site.
The scores, the findings, the reasoning, the methodology and the site itself belong to TruthRadar Ltd.
If you think a score is wrong
Write to corrections@truthradar.app and say which sermon and what you think is wrong with it. If you are the preacher, or speak for the church that published it, say so.
We will look at it and reply. Where an assessment turns out to be mistaken we will correct or remove it. Where we still disagree we will say so plainly, and you may ask us to publish your reply alongside it.
If you would rather a sermon of yours were not listed at all, tell us and we will remove it.
What we do not promise
TruthRadar is offered as it is. We do not promise it will always be available, that every score is correct, or that the corpus is complete. Nothing here is theological, legal or professional advice, and no score should be the only thing you rely on in deciding what to listen to or who to learn from.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Beyond that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Ending it
You can stop using TruthRadar and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that is being used in breach of these terms, and we will say why.
Changes
We may change these terms. If a change matters we will say so on this page, and the date below will tell you when it last changed.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
Last changed 25 September 2026.
